Public Notice
I, E. K. Kumaresan, Advocate, hereby issue this public notice on behalf of my client, M/s. Srisha Educational & Charitable Trust, represented by its Trustee, Mr. S. Mohandass, having its address at Survey No. 72/1, Pattanam, near SSVM World School, Vaigai Nagar, Singanallur to Vellalore Road, Coimbatore – 641 016.
The public is hereby informed as follows:
SSVM Institutions, Coimbatore, run by my client, M/s. Srisha Educational & Charitable Trust, does not, as on the date of publication of this notice, have any branch, school, franchise, affiliated institution or any other educational institution in Karur District.
Further, SSVM Institutions has been using the trademark “SSVM” for more than two decades and holds statutory rights arising from registration of the said mark in relation to educational services.
Further, “Sri Saraswathi Vidhya Mandhir Matric Higher Secondary School, Karur” / “SSVM School, Karur” have no connection whatsoever with SSVM Institutions, Coimbatore. They are neither affiliated with, recognised by, nor managed by SSVM Institutions.
It is further informed that:
Based on a complaint filed by my client, the Administrative Panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), by its decision dated 02.09.2025, directed the transfer of the domain name “ssvmschoolkarur.com” to my client, M/s. Srisha Educational & Charitable Trust.
Subsequently, by order dated 09.10.2026, the Principal Subordinate Court, Namakkal, allowed I.A. No. 3/2026 in C.O.S. No. 16/2025 and rejected the plaint filed in C.O.S. No. 16/2025 challenging the aforesaid WIPO decision.
Consequent to the said court order, ownership of the domain name “ssvmschoolkarur.com” was transferred to my client.
SSVM Institutions, Coimbatore, is taking all necessary legal action to protect its “SSVM” trademark and prevent infringement, passing off and confusion among the public.
Therefore, the public is hereby informed that:
“Sri Saraswathi Vidhya Mandhir Matric Higher Secondary School, Karur” / “SSVM School, Karur” are not part of my client's “SSVM Institutions, Coimbatore”. My client is also the owner of the domain name “ssvmschoolkarur.com”.
Accordingly, members of the public who enter into any transactions or dealings with “SSVM School, Karur” are advised to do so based on their own choice, judgment and responsibility.

நான், ஈ.கே. குமரேசன், வழக்கறிஞர், எனது கட்சிக்காரரான, ஸ்ரீஷா கல்வி மற்றும் அறக்கட்டளையின் (M/s. Srisha Educational & Charitable Trust) சார்பாக, அதன் அறங்காவலர் திரு. எஸ். மோகன்தாஸ் அவர்களால் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தப்பட்டு, சர்வே எண் 72/1, பட்டணம், SSVM வேர்ல்ட் ஸ்கூல் அருகில், வைகை நகர், சிங்காநல்லூர் முதல் வெள்ளலூர் செல்லும் சாலை, கோயம்புத்தூர் – 641 016 என்ற முகவரியில் அமைந்துள்ள அறக்கட்டளையின் சார்பில் இப்பொது அறிவிப்பை வெளியிடுகிறேன்.
இதன்மூலம் பொதுமக்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கப்படுவது யாதெனில்:
எனது கட்சிக்காரரான M/s. Srisha Educational & Charitable Trust நிறுவனத்தால் நடத்தப்பட்டு வரும் SSVM கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள், கோயம்புத்தூர் (SSVM Institutions, Coimbatore), இப்பொது அறிவிப்பு வெளியிடப்படும் தேதியன்று, கரூர் மாவட்டத்தில் எந்தவொரு கிளையையோ, பள்ளியையோ, உரிமம் பெற்ற நிறுவனத்தையோ (Franchise), இணை நிறுவனத்தையோ அல்லது வேறு எந்தக் கல்வி நிறுவனத்தையோ கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை என்பதைப் பொதுமக்களுக்குத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
மேலும், “SSVM Institutions” என்ற கல்வி நிறுவனம், கடந்த இரண்டு தசாப்தங்களுக்கும் மேலாக “SSVM” என்ற வணிகக் குறியீட்டைப் பயன்படுத்தி வருவதுடன், கல்விச் சேவைகள் தொடர்பாக மேற்படி குறியீட்டின் மீது பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட சட்டப்பூர்வ உரிமைகளையும் கொண்டுள்ளது.
மேலும், “ஸ்ரீ சரஸ்வதி வித்யா மந்திர் மெட்ரிக் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி, கரூர்” (Sri Saraswathi Vidhya Mandhir Matric Higher Secondary School, Karur) / “SSVM பள்ளி, கரூர்” (SSVM School, Karur) ஆகியவை கோயம்புத்தூரில் செயல்பட்டு வரும் SSVM கல்வி நிறுவனங்களுடன் எவ்விதத் தொடர்பும் இல்லாதவை. அவை SSVM கல்வி நிறுவனங்களுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டவையோ, அவற்றால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டவையோ அல்லது அவற்றின் நிர்வாகத்தின் கீழ் செயல்படுபவையோ அல்ல.
மேலும் தெரிவிக்கப்படுவது யாதெனில்:
எனது கட்சிக்காரர் அளித்த புகாரின் அடிப்படையில், உலக அறிவுசார் சொத்துரிமை அமைப்பின் (WIPO) நிர்வாகக் குழு, 02.09.2025 தேதியிட்ட தனது தீர்ப்பின் மூலம், “ssvmschoolkarur.com” என்ற இணையதளப் பெயரை எனது கட்சிக்காரரான M/s. Srisha Educational & Charitable Trust நிறுவனத்திற்கு மாற்றித் தருமாறு உத்தரவிட்டது.
அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, 09.10.2026 தேதியிட்ட உத்தரவின் மூலம், நாமக்கல் முதன்மை சார்பு நீதிமன்றம், C.O.S. எண் 16/2025 வழக்கில் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்ட I.A. எண் 3/2026 மனுவை அனுமதித்து, மேற்படி WIPO தீர்ப்பை எதிர்த்து C.O.S. எண் 16/2025 வழக்கில் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்த வழக்குரையை (Plaint) நிராகரித்தது.
மேற்படி நீதிமன்ற உத்தரவின் விளைவாக, “ssvmschoolkarur.com” என்ற இணையதளப் பெயரின் உரிமை எனது கட்சிக்காரருக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டது.
SSVM கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள், கோயம்புத்தூர், தனது “SSVM” வணிகக் குறியீட்டைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கும், அக்குறியீட்டின் உரிமை மீறல், தவறான வணிகத் தோற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்துதல் (Passing Off) மற்றும் பொதுமக்களிடையே குழப்பம் ஏற்படுவதைத் தடுப்பதற்கும் தேவையான அனைத்து சட்ட நடவடிக்கைகளையும் மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது.
எனவே, இப்பொது அறிவிப்பின் மூலம் பொதுமக்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கப்படுவது யாதெனில்:
“ஸ்ரீ சரஸ்வதி வித்யா மந்திர் மெட்ரிக் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி, கரூர்” / “SSVM பள்ளி, கரூர்” ஆகியவை எனது கட்சிக்காரரான “SSVM கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள், கோயம்புத்தூர்” அமைப்பின் ஒரு பகுதியல்ல. மேலும், “ssvmschoolkarur.com” என்ற இணையதளப் பெயரின் உரிமையாளர் எனது கட்சிக்காரரே ஆவார்.
எனவே, “SSVM பள்ளி, கரூர்” நிறுவனத்துடன் தொடர்பு கொண்டு எந்தவொரு பரிவர்த்தனையிலோ அல்லது நடவடிக்கையிலோ ஈடுபடும் பொதுமக்கள், தங்களது சொந்த விருப்பம், முடிவு மற்றும் பொறுப்பின் அடிப்படையில் அவ்வாறு செயல்பட வேண்டும் என அறிவுறுத்தப்படுகிறார்கள்.
